About the Hobby Center
Making the arts accessible to Houston residents, the Hobby Center for Performing Arts features musicals, symphonies, local performers, famous musicians, comedians, and more. Hobby Center includes several series for different interests, including Broadway at the Hobby Center, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), Uniquely Houston (a program for smaller and mid-size nonprofit performing arts organizations), as well as special performances and exhibits from Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Alley Theatre, Houston Symphony, and Society for the Performing Arts. With the larger Sarofim Hall and the more intimate Silkha Hall, make every performance a magical experience.
