I was referred to Dr. Brissett after I had a less than stellar experience with a cosmetic surgeon post-Mohs nose procedure. I was not pleased with the first surgeon’s nose repair. Dr. Brissett accepted me as a patient and subsequently performed surgery to correct my nose making it easier for me to breathe through my right nostril plus making my nose more symmetrical. Fast forward through covid and I decided I wanted a necklift. Dr. Brissett performed the surgery, and I am very pleased with the results. He and his staff were very attentive to my concerns. He also made a minor adjustment to my right nostril making my nose even more symmetrical. The post-surgical care by Dr. Brissett and his staff has been excellent. His nurse, Regina, and Andrea, patient care coordinator, are very caring. All other team members are extremely pleasant to work with including his aesthetician, Annie. I highly recommend Dr. Brissett for facial plastic surgery. He is not only a surgeon but also an artist. More

A cute, straight, structured nose, that is fully functional and I can actually breathe better now after surgery! I'm 6 months post-op and I am so blessed and beyond satisfied with my results. A quick story to show how genuinely amazing Dr. Brissett is: My first night home after surgery, my nose and face started hurting like CRAZY, and I was feeling all the pain from the surgery despite taking my prescribed pain medication. I came to realize that the pain medication was not working with my body, and I was in tears from all the pain I was feeling. (WHICH IS A HUGE NO NO because it was making it hurt even more) It was 10:30 at night, but I still called the office, and because the office is connected to the hospital, the hospital staff contacted Dr. Brissett, and within 5 minutes, Dr. Brissett FACETIMED me, and called in the nearest pharmacy so I could get different pain meds! At the time, because of the pandemic, the latest pharmacy was open until 11 pm, and because of my awesome surgeon and his genuine care for his patients, I was able to get my pain meds within minutes, and the pain totally went away. Recovery was so smooth. It was completely painless, and all my post-op appointments so far have been so amazing, because the entire staff has become like family to me. These are genuine, warm people who are passionate about helping others feel confident , and if you're looking for a surgeon who is a master at his craft, and also has a heart of gold, Dr Brissett is your guy! 11/10 recommend More

I had a previous consultation with a different DR and was misdiagnosed and told my bump was a dermiod cyst and I’d have to have it cut out over the cyst which could leave a scar on my face. I decided to visit Dr. Brissett for a second opinion I’m so glad I did. Not only was it not a dermiod cyst but the procedure could be done at the hairline with no visible scar! The process was easy, I felt comfortable, and Dr Brissett and staff were amazing! Dr Brissetts procedure was so Pristine. I was told I could have some swelling and bruising and pain. I literally did not even have to take my pain medication after the procedure had no bruising and minimal swelling. Thank you Dr. Brissett and team for your amazing work! More

Dr. Brissett Goes Above and Beyond in Making You Feel Comfortable! - I’m a female in college and woke up one morning with a hemangioma on my lip/chin. It was not the most pleasant thing to look at and was advised that it was best to get it removed. Finding the right surgeon was very important to me. I consulted with a lot of doctors that were not invested in my physical appearance, rather they were more concerned with getting the hemangioma out and the appearance would be what it was. That was until I met Dr. Brissett. When he first saw me, he was so calming and assured me that he could get the hemangioma out and that I would get back to my old self. He repeatedly told me that only him, I, and my family would know that this happened to me after surgery. Dr. Brissett genuinely cared about my confidence and never sugarcoated anything to me during this process. His bedside manner is the best I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Brissett took over my case in 2006 when I moved to Houston. In the 13+ years we have been together, he has remained a constant advocate for my continued care - which is residual paralysis/nerve damage & spasms due to 2 Bell's Palsy events in my early 30s. In that time, he and his team have always been consistent (and exceptional) in their delivery and care. Dr. Brissett was familiar with all facets of my issue/case and took the time to contact my previous surgeon. He is also one of the kindest people I have ever met who has a genuine heart in his care. From my first phone call (after an internet search for someone who understood my specific issue) to Andrea (Dr. B's Sr. Patient Care Coordinator) - who quickly got my on his schedule - I knew I was in great hands. She was knowledgeable about my issue and her welcoming tone let me know I had come to the right place - fast forward to 2019 and she is still with Dr. Brissett. Andrea has advocated through insurance with me (during a mixup) and ensured that I was always taken care of. I also have to note Regina - who has been with me every step of the way - from the first dab of numbing cream to holding my hand through countless Botox shots when the sting was a bit too much - I adore this woman! It's not all been medical care though - I have done some aesthetic work - fillers, facials - and my biggest battle with Dr. Brissett is that I want Nicole Kidman's forehead and he wants me to have my own forehead - it's become a running joke! Facial paralysis isn't all bad - I have the skin of someone about 20 years younger than I should (and I love that) and have had the opportunity for care from his aesthetician - Annie - you can't go wrong there. Facial Paralysis - not something I would have EVER signed up for nor would I ever want someone to go through what I have. It's a devastating blow to your ego and your mind overall - but, with Dr. Brissett, Andrea, Regina and Annie - I've learned to live with it more, love who I am and importantly - love the care that gives me normalcy in my everyday life. I can't imagine going through this for so long without this exceptional doctor and his amazing team - all of them including his entire staff! More

Dr. Brissett Saved My Face After Cancer! - I was told by my dermatologist that I had skin cancer on my nose and would need a Mohs surgeon to remove it. My Mohs Surgeon then told me that it was possible I would need plastic surgery to replace what she was going to have to remove from my nose (which was most of my nose). She referred me to Dr. Brissett who made me a promise the very first time I met him. He told me that his goal and promise was that when he was finished with the reconstruction of my nose, no one would ever know we had met. He was 100 percent right!
