"I had a botched rhinoplasty and my nose was extremely distorted. My doctor recommended a surgeon and l had my consultation. He told me that l would need someone qualified to restructure and rebuild my nose. He gave me Dr. Brissett's details and now it's six weeks later and l have my life back. I can now breath perfectly to the point of doing light excerise and something l hadn't really considered at the time but my nose is beautiful. It's really lovely and moreover suits my face. "Dr. Brissett and his entire team have been amazing throughout my time as a patient with them! I was treated for a severely deviated septum that prevented airflow in one nostril. I went into my procedure with average expectations, believing I might see a minor to moderate improvement with my breathing, but was blown away by the results. After recovery, I was able to breathe perfectly normal, without any issues whatsoever. On top of that, my face appeared more symmetrical, and my nose came out looking better than ever! "I was in an accident and needed to have my broken cheek bone fixed. It was an emotional and anxiety filled time for me. Dr. Brissett was my saving grace and I felt like I had the very best doctor in the world. He was kind and patient (I know I was a lot with my emotions) and he seemed to care so much about everyone- from his staff to his patients. "I was referred to Dr. Brissett after I had a less than stellar experience with a cosmetic surgeon post-Mohs nose procedure. I was not pleased with the first surgeon’s nose repair. Dr. Brissett accepted me as a patient and subsequently performed surgery to correct my nose making it easier for me to breathe through my right nostril plus making my nose more symmetrical.
Fast forward through covid and I decided I wanted a necklift. Dr. Brissett performed the surgery, and I am very pleased with the results. He and his staff were very attentive to my concerns. He also made a minor adjustment to my right nostril making my nose even more symmetrical. The post-surgical care by Dr. Brissett and his staff has been excellent. His nurse, Regina, and Andrea, patient care coordinator, are very caring. All other team members are extremely pleasant to work with including his aesthetician, Annie. I highly recommend Dr. Brissett for facial plastic surgery. He is not only a surgeon but also an artist."

"Profound RF for lip lines, cheeks, marionette lines & jowls - I decided to profound rf because I'm not at all ready for a facelift at 48, but have vertical lip lines, some wrinkling on my cheeks, the start of some marionette lines, a less defined jawline than I would like, and the first hint of jowls (that sounds awful now that I've written it all out). Sorry, but I don't feel comfortable posting pics. I will do my best to describe everything, because I've benefited so much from others' reviews. I am very anxious when it comes to any kind of procedure, so did my research on this one. The plastic surgeon who does my botox and filler started offering Profound, and I tentatively got on board after office staff described it to me. I would not have done this in a medspa, or with a provider I didn't know and trust, because I've read in several places that user experience and training are important predictors of results. Day of: Someone drove me to the office and I signed consents. The nurse put numbing cream on my face and swabs of oral anesthetic inside my mouth for superficial numbing. Next came the shots of anesthesia. This was by far and away the very worst part. I could never, ever have done it had I not had a valium, and I ended up taking a second one before they started the actual procedure because I was so shaken. If you don't do well with the needles at the dentist or elsewhere, beware. I lost count of how many sticks there were, but every single one was painful. By the last third of the sticks, I was yelling out pain scale numbers unprompted, and they ranged from 6 on up to 10. I also cried. And swore. Next, they moved me to the treatment room, and laid me all the way back in a large chair. There was a bright, operating light overhead. The procedure itself was very tolerable. There was some discomfort, but nothing like the numbing injections. The Dr. held the machine head firmly over patches of skin, and it made a clicking noise, followed by four seconds of sound as the needles stayed in place, delivering the radio frequency. A few times, I could feel the very strange and uncomfortable sensation of something zapping and wiggling deep under my skin, but it otherwise was almost painless. Toward the end, I started to feel things more, and he numbed me up with more shots. When he finished, I looked like an extra from a zombie movie. The anesthesia turned my skin very white, and there were red and purple spots all over I was also very, very swollen right away. I was told this was the fluid in my face. Today is day 2. I slept with my head elevated and I've iced religiously. the swelling has gone down, but my phone still doesn't recognize me, so I'm still - well - that swollen. The swelling isn't uniform; rather, my face looks somewhat lumpy. I'm also red like I have a bad sunburn, and my skin feels hot. The bruising on my face appears to be minimal (fingers crossed it stays that way); my neck, however, is a different story. It looks like someone tried to strangle me. I shall keep icing, taking my arnica, and will give an update in a day or two!"

The entire process from the initial consultation to my post operative appointments, everything is done professionally and with genuine care. Andrea, Rachel, Regina, Dr. Brissett, and the entire team are all so good at what they do. Choosing Dr. Brissett for my ethnic rhinoplasty was the best decision I've ever made, and I mean that! Despite having what is considered an ethnic nose with super thick skin, I am amazed at my results! I've wanted a rhinoplasty since I was 10 years old, and at 20 I came to Dr. Brissett and finally got what I always wanted. A cute, straight, structured nose, that is fully functional and I can actually breathe better now after surgery! I'm 6 months post-op and I am so blessed and beyond satisfied with my results. A quick story to show how genuinely amazing Dr. Brissett is: My first night home after surgery, my nose and face started hurting like CRAZY, and I was feeling all the pain from the surgery despite taking my prescribed pain medication. I came to realize that the pain medication was not working with my body, and I was in tears from all the pain I was feeling. (WHICH IS A HUGE NO NO because it was making it hurt even more) It was 10:30 at night, but I still called the office, and because the office is connected to the hospital, the hospital staff contacted Dr. Brissett, and within 5 minutes, Dr. Brissett FACETIMED me, and called in the nearest pharmacy so I could get different pain meds! At the time, because of the pandemic, the latest pharmacy was open until 11 pm, and because of my awesome surgeon and his genuine care for his patients, I was able to get my pain meds within minutes, and the pain totally went away. Recovery was so smooth. It was completely painless, and all my post-op appointments so far have been so amazing, because the entire staff has become like family to me. These are genuine, warm people who are passionate about helping others feel confident , and if you're looking for a surgeon who is a master at his craft, and also has a heart of gold, Dr Brissett is your guy! 11/10 recommend"

My friend accidentally hit me with the back of his arm and broke it. I was recommended to Dr. Brissett from the ER I went to. I called his office the next day so he can check my nose and make sure all was ok. He saw me the next day. He wanted to make sure I didn't have any damage inside my nose that needed to me fixed right away before it was too late. My nose was real swollen and the break was clean so he said it looks like I will not need surgery but to still come back in about a week. His friendly staff set the appointment. I had trouble breathing through my right nostril after the swelling went down. I mentioned it to him when I went back and he checked and I received the news that I needed surgery to lift up the inside of my nose because it caved in and blocked my airway. The day I came home from surgery my mom dropped off my prescription and Walgreens said they never got the antibiotic prescription. This is the one I really needed. He called me back within 30 minutes and called my pharmacy and put in the prescription for me and let me know that he called it in. This was a plus for me too. He cares about his patients. He took time and make sure I got the antibiotics that I needed. I had to wear a cast for a week and i got it off today. I feel like a new person. My nose looks great!! It was uneven from the side of it being caved in and now it looks normal. I will go back in a month to take pictures and see the before and after pictures, and he will make sure my nose is looking good. :)I recommended him already to lots of people and I recommend him to you all."

I decided to have this surgery, because I was having trouble in breathing due to a deviated septum. I was having headaches very frequently, especially if my nose was congested when I woke up in the mornings. My husband convinced me that this surgery would improve quality of my life and there is no reason for me to suffer from this for the rest of my life. I had my surgery on December 19 at the Houston Methodist Hospital, I was very nervous as this was the first time I was having a surgery. Dr. Brissett, Dr. Andrew (who was doing his residence with Dr. Brissett and was at the operation room observing the procedure), my anesthetist, and the nurses were very nice and comforting. Before the surgery I was worried that I won’t be able to put into complete sleep even though I had no supporting evidence, but that was not the case. When I woke up, Dr. Brissett was right next to me and told me everything went well and will get 1.5 hours of rest and then will be able to go home. Unfortunately, the recovery room nurses at the Methodist Hospital were not as good as the surgery nurses and staff, they sent me home right after Dr. Brissett left the recovery room, within the 30 minutes after the surgery. That was the only negative thing about my surgery-the recovery room-and it had nothing to do with Dr. Brissett. I wanted to share this because I am still very upset with what happened in the recovery room-me being kicked out of the hospital even I said I was not ready. I had absolutely no pain after the surgery; just some discomfort which was expected. I was home after about half an hour took my antibiotics but no pain medications. That night was not bad at all, I woke up many times to drink water over the night as my mouth dried very often. There were no bruises, my eyes were a bit swollen but that was it. I had some bleeding in the first 3-4 days and after that there was none. I went to see Dr. Brissett after a week, and he took the nasil packings out of my nose and I breathed better than I ever have in my life. I was so happy?! My nose got stuffy for a few days, but I cleaned it with nasal mist and it worked fine. Now I breathe very well, I am so glad that I did this. I recommend this surgery for everyone who suffers from deviated septum-if they think they find the right doctor. I am so lucky that Dr. Brissett was my surgeon.
